Welcome and thank you for visiting my page, and please contact me if you would like to know how learning about the Havening Techniques® can help you. I have found that learning about Havening has transformed my understanding of how to generate effective and profound change. At first I was curious and I thought I was just adding Havening Techniques to my already large toolbox, but what I have discovered is far deeper than that. The science-based principles have enabled me to become incredibly accurate and to use hypnosis, NLP, and TFT more effectively. I have been delighted that I can now also use activities such as walking, horse-riding, drawing, swimming and dancing in a new way. I believe learning Havening Techniques® has made me much more effective, and I think this is evidenced in the considerable increase in referrals.

I aim to share the knowledge and skills I have with you, in a down-to-earth, informal and sensible way, so that you reach your goals and are self-sufficient with new skills which you can apply in the future. I am interested in the senses, creativity, thinking outside the box, accelerated learning, finding the best solutions possible, and making complex things simple. I myself continue learning and growing, and think it's important to love living life. I am interested in all sorts of solution seeking, so do get in touch if you would like to discuss the problems you are experiencing or the changes you desire.
I have a special interest in the following subjects, autism spectrum, sensory overwhelm, worries and fears including sexual fears, blushing, stammering, confidence and becoming free of blocks to self expression and creativity and sporting success. I love helping children and families and have a Scottish Disclosure Certificate for working with children and RDA clients.

For more information or to book a session (afternoons, evenings and some weekends) or a course do get in touch by phone or email.

"Thank you for the amazing session. If we hadn't taken photographs her dad would never have believed us. My daughter says she has never felt so confident and is thrilled to be jumping courses so steadily and easily. Interestingly her horse also seems much more settled. I don't know how you did this in an hour's session."

Business and Professional Success

'Becoming increasingly successful in business was creating more of a strain on my ability to hide that I couldn't read. I had developed many different ways of hiding that I was unable to read, such as going to the same restaurants, getting to know the staff and ordering 'what I always have'. Traveling more meant I was faced with having to pretend to read menus. A new senior manager began to ask me to read text to him and the stress became unbearable. I found Carol through JustBeWell and I didn't expect any miracles. She explained the Havening methods to me and I found the science very plausable and interesting and I found that I immediately remembered being humiliated in the first year at school by the teacher. Carol suggested we work on this incident even though it was so far back. After we did the Havening, I felt very differnt and then surprisngly angry at the poor quality of the teaching and then sad at my problems. Although I felt unusually emotional, Carol very calmly continued and taught me another Havening method and this merged with exactly what I was doing, if that makes sense. Soon to my surprise I was laughing. Carol then started another way of working, NLP, and we set to getting me reading. It all made sense although seemed too easy almost and she set me to work at home with online support.

The result is that I can now read and write, the relief is enormous, I have started to study English, have been reading books and have been further promoted at work, business is much less stressful and have been enjoying trying out new foods too'

Cat Phobia

I had been suffering from a fear of cats for around 28 years, for as long as I can remember I have always been anxious around cats, didnt particualrly like then and tried to avoid them when I could.

Throughout the years the fear grew deeper and deeper in that I was constantly wondering if I was going to see a cat if I went out, what would it do to me and how could I avoid it.

At its worst my fear stopped me from opening my windows in the house in case a cat jumped in, I wouldnt go into my garden if a cat was there, I would either run back into the house if a cat came into the garden when I was out or freeze on the spot and on a few occasions I have actually been brought to tears when a cat came into the same room as me.

I constantly thought the cat was going to attack me it was terrible, I lived my life scanning for cats where ever I went and it was getting to the point where I would check if cats were going to be there before I would go anywhere.

Although I knew the fear was silly and the cat wouldnt hurt me I couldnt stop the reactions I had. It was when I almost decided not to go on holiday as there would be ferral cats that I decided enough was enough and booked a session with you Carol.

The session was great around 3 hours of talking and mental exercises which are quite easy but difficult to describe. Thinking about the different situations I had been in how they made me feel then turning these situations around in my head. I felt the session was really relaxing with the dogs being there as support too :)

Carol at the end of the session asked me if I wanted to be introduced to her cat. Initially the immediate thought im my head was really !!!! but I agreed as I wanted to and Carol slowly but surely brought the cat into the room and in no time at all I was petting her cat and the cat was roaming frely around the room.

I serious would never have thought that by the end of the session I would have been in that place and able to do what I did. I also then started to wonder if this would last and get better although I despearately wanted it to.

I went home and my family could not beleive the pictures from the session and were too wondering if it would work in our own environment and it was just a few days later that I went to my next door neighbours house and was able to sit onher sofa and clap her cat who previously stopped me from going in and out my house.

Since then I have been in a few houses with cats or had cats in my garden and I can honestly say I have had no reaction to them at all and would and have quite easily petted them if they came up to me.

All my friends and family are completely in awe of the difference that the session has made tome and said if they hadnt seen the difference with their own eyes they would never have believed that it worked.

Thank you Carol for giving me my freedom back :)
