The Havening Techniques®, utilising current neuroscience, can help with many issues, including distressing memories, emotional trauma, fear and pain. Havening, a psycho-sensory technique, uses the sensory input of touch, imagination, and attention to create lasting change. Havening Techniques can complement or enhance existing practices such as EMDR, NLP, hypnotherapy and clinical psychology and is powerful as a sole therapy.

This two-day intensive program is designed for therapists, nurses, doctors, psychologists, licensed mental health care workers, social workers, first responders, educators, coaches and many other professionals. The training teaches the science behind Havening Techniques, practical experience in applying the techniques, and experiential learning.
 
Certification as a Havening Practitioner requires completion of the two-day training course, the submission of 30 case histories during supervised practice, and completion of a Science exam. Coaching and supervision includes written feedback on 30 case histories, viewing and feedback on two videos of therapy session, and three formal coaching session in person or by video.
 
There is a fee for the two-day training and a fee for the coaching and supervision. In addition, there is a fee of US$99 to apply for Certification.
For New Zealand students the current fees are:

Coaching and supervision for Certification: $1,100
Discounted package price for training and supervision, if paid in advance: $2,200
 
The training will be based in Raglan, Waikato, New Zealand. The training package also includes a folder of notes and resources, pdf textbook (Primer) by the founder of Havening, Dr Ron Ruden, nine hours of instructional video by Dr Ruden, access to a closed Facebook Group where you can talk with the Havening Founders, Trainers and Practitioners, and also a monthly Raglan-based Practice Group of students and practitioners.
 
The Trainer is Dr Robin Youngson, Certified Havening Trainer and Anaesthetic Specialist. He will be supported by local Havening practitioners, for hands-on training and experiential learning. Full details are available on my registration page.
