As I sit to write a bio, I'm compelled to state that I love people and being a part of their journey, healing and becoming. After spending the first part of my life working as an actress I felt called to become a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I moved from Georgia where I studied and started as a therapist to Ketchum, Idaho with my husband and children. After mother and wife, being a therapist is my most treasured and honored role in this life.

My interests in therapy began with caring for and healing trauma and how those experiences impact how individuals navigate relationships with themselves and others.  This brought me to an extensive study of Dr. Sue Johnson's Emotionally Focused Couples therapy and trauma informed care.  As I moved from Georgia to Idaho, I was introduced to somatic approaches to healing and chose to ground my person-centered, attachment focused approach with the biolgogical benefits of models like TRM, EFT and Havening Techniques.

My experience as a professional actress serves my work as a valuable tool that I use to craft and tailor creative therapeutic interventions and strategies. In my coaching and consulting I use these skills to develop programs dedicated to teaching and using theatre skills to enhance and habituate authenticy and communication from the boardroom, the bedroom, the classroom and beyond. Previous clients include attorneys, physicians, corporate leaders, managers and educators.

I find the common denominator in all clients to be a longing for connection, understanding, comfort and compassion. Whether I am counseling, coaching or consulting, my skills combine to help people build capacity to take the necessary risks to grow.
