I have had lifelong exposure to individuals who experience either developmental disabilities or mental illness. I moved to Alaska from Virgina in 1986 and began my career path working with this population of peopleat a nonprofit agency in varying direct service positions. In 2005 after obtaining my Masters degree I worked for a period of timefor a mental health agency in teh local schools providign clinicial services where I sought and obtained a Masters if Education Counseling . In 2016, I returned to providing clinical services with adults at an agency. I am happy with the work we do for a popuation of people that are under served.
