My name is Anne Bengtsson, I have worked as an Osteopath since 2000 and as a Havening Practitioner since 2023.

My specialty is un-resolved birth-traumas in women. I do Osteopathic internal pelvic health work alongside Havening to restore confidence, wellbeing and help prepare for consecutive pregnancies and births.

I endeavor to help my patients to re-connect to themselves, feel alive again and remember the innate gifts of feeling safe, calm and empowered. Together we clear past hurtful events in order to boost your inner resilience and feel freedom to live from a place of Trust, not fear.

My approach is down-to earth with a scientific Psycho-neuro-endo-immunology (P.N.E.I) base, to embrace the Bodymind concept.

Havening is a profound psycho-somatic therapy. I am amazed by the transformations that I have witnessed. It literally shifts the painful past events by transforming the neurological brain wiring causing it to affect the present day-to-day mental and emotional wellbeing.

I will list some examples where Havening has been the key to profound change lately in my clinic:

Car accidents – fear of driving again, deep emotional and physical shocks from the injuries,

A young female with a historical sexual trauma that manifested as pudendal neuralgia pain in the pelvic region and have had profound repercussions in the areas of intimacy and relationships.

Fear of dentists and dental surgery.

Grief following the loss of a loved one – miscarriage or stillbirth.

Grief from the death of a pet.

Birth traumas – pelvic floor injuries following ventouse, forceps, extensive tears or Caesarian sections.

Anxiety in adolescents - Fear of starting a new school and exams coming up.

Suicidal thoughts in an18 yr. old male.

The overwhelm and guilt of parents caring for a severely disabled child.

An ongoing debilitating feeling of low self-esteem.

Ongoing (decades later) vaginal discomfort following a rough first sexual intercourse experience.

Work performance stress and the constant feeling of overwhelm.

Involuntary movements/tics when stressed.

Fears of not having any friends/ loneliness,

Panic of public speaking as a radio host.
