My journey into Havening grew out of over two decades of working alongside people facing addictions, trauma, grief, and mental health struggles in Aotearoa New Zealand. Again and again, I saw the deep pain people carried — and while talk therapy and traditional methods helped, something was often missing. When I discovered Havening, I was struck by how quickly and safely it could bring calm and release from the weight of trauma. Since then, I have seen clients describe their experiences as life-changing and incredibly transformational.
Since becoming a Certified Havening Practitioner in 2022, I have integrated Havening into one-to-one sessions with survivors of abuse, suicide grief support, residential rehab programmes, and most recently, a pilot programme introducing Havening into schools. I also draw on my recent training in NLP and group facilitation to enrich the way I share this work.
As I step into the role of Certified Havening Trainer, I feel humbled and excited. My vision is to help others learn to use Havening with confidence, compassion, and creativity — so that together, we can create ripples of healing for individuals, families, and future generations.
