I live in Bartow, Florida, USA. I retired from the Florida Department of Transportation in 10/2013 after 35 years of government work. My expertise was in Roadway Design. After retirement I volunteered for 3 years as a State of Florida Certified Ombudsman advocating for quality care in Group Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Nursing Homes, and Alzheimer & Dementia Memory Care Units. At present time I am now a Hospice volunteer for Cornerstone Hospice. I visit patients in Alzheimer & Dementia Memory Care Units or their homes when they are under Hospice Care, which is usually under 6 months. I also volunteer for local Veteran events and I assist with the Flight to Honor to Washington DC. In 2018 I flew as the guardian of a Korean/Vietnam veteran. In 2021 I flew again as a guardian of a Vietnam veteran. Also, I am a Rapid Transformational Therapy Therapist and a Certified Hypnotherapist.
