This Live Online Training in the Havening Techniques takes place over the course of 2 weekends - May 14th & 15th and May 21st & 22nd, 2021. Each 4 hour workshop includes Live Didactics, focused breakout groups, and experientials. 

Training begins at 9:00am and wraps at 1:30pm each day, times are in Pacific Time Zone.

Continuing Education: Viva Excellence is Accredited by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) to provide 16 CEs for this training. Please check with your licensing body to see if it accepts CEs approved through NASW. Continuing Education Credit is provided by Commonwealth Educational Seminars for the following professions: Psychologists: Commonwealth Educational Seminars is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Commonwealth Educational Seminars maintains responsibility for these programs and their content. Nurses: As an American Psychological Association (APA) approved provider, CES programs are accepted by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). These courses can be utilized by nurses to renew their certification and will be accepted by the ANCC. Every state Board of Nursing accepts ANCC approved programs except California and Iowa, however CES is also an approved Continuing Education provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider # CEP15567) which is also accepted by the Iowa Board of Nursing.    

The Havening Techniques®, utilizing current neuroscience, can help with many issues, including distressing memories, trauma, fear and pain. Havening, a psycho-sensory technique, uses the sensory input of touch, imagination, and attention to create lasting change.

This training is designed specifically for mental health professionals who are licensed to practice in their state or province. Qualifying mental health practitioners and medical professionals include those who hold a Masters or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Marriage Family Therapy, Psychology, Psychotherapy, Psychiatry, Social Work, as well Nurses. This training is also open to interns/residents/post-doctoral and students with permission of their supervisor.
